  • “Emotional Support Animals (ESA),” “companion,” and “comfort” dogs do not fall under the category of “service animals” protected by the ADA. A service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. According to California Penal Code Section 365.7, falsely representing a dog as a service animal is considered a criminal offense. Those found guilty of violating this law may face imprisonment and fines of up to $1,000.

The information above does not pertain to ADA-compliant service dogs, and no fees will be applied in such cases. However, if the dog causes disruption, you may be requested to leave.

We can’t wait to welcome you and your pet!
