Are you pet friendly?

We love animals! Sadly, not everyone does. Therefore, we ask that you please leave your pet at home during your visit to the Inn at East Beach. This No-Pets policy applies to Emotional Support Animals, Comfort Animals, and Therapy Animals. Individually trained Service Dogs who perform work or tasks that cannot otherwise be performed as described by the ADA are welcome and must remain with their person at all times. We appreciate your consideration of all others in this matter.

Do you have a parking lot?

Yes! We have our own parking lot that can accommodate one small, to mid-size, vehicle per guest room. Oversized trucks, trucks with trailers, and motorhomes will need to use available street parking. Booking directly with us allows for free parking whereas booking elsewhere brings parking to $10.00 per night.

How far are you from the beach?

We are just one block from the beach!

 

How far are you from Downtown State Street?

We are 1.5 miles from the beginning of State Street at Stearns Wharf. It is about a 20 minute walk along the beach. Alternatively, you could take the Waterfront Shuttle for $0.50 per ride during the day, they pick up one block away.

How far are you from the Santa Barbara Zoo?

The Zoo is just one block behind us!

Directly across the street within the Hyatt Centric. They serve Spanish cuisine with California seafood and greens.

Are there pull-out sofas in the rooms?

We do not have pull out sofas, however, we can offer rollaway beds for a small fee when available.

What is the difference between a Superior Room and a Junior Suite?

Our Junior Suites are larger and feature a fireplace and a small, yet fully equipped, kitchen with a full size refrigerator, stove top, oven, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, table and chairs and yes, even the kitchen sink!

Are there coffee pots in the rooms?

The Junior Suites include a coffee makers. There is also coffee and tea available in the lobby throughout the day.

Do you have a hot tub?

We do not. However, the pool is heated to 82 degrees from 9AM to 9PM year round.

Do you offer breakfast?

We do not offer breakfast. However, is coffee and tea available in the lobby.

Is early check in/late check out possible?

We will always do our best to accommodate our guests. If you desire an early check in, please contact us on the day of your arrival as early as possible. Should we be able to accommodate your early arrival, there is a fee of $35.

Do you accept group bookings?

Our hotel cannot accommodate group bookings.

How much are your bike rentals?

Our bike rentals are courtesy of Cal Coast Adventures and are $10.00 per hour, $25.00 for 3-4 hours, and $40.00 for the entire day up to midnight. We provide a lock and helmets if desired. Helmets are required for anyone under the age of 18.

What kind of beach gear do you offer?

We offer towels, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach blankets, sand toys, volleyballs, and boogie boards. All these items are FREE for our guests to use and return.

Do you have Air Conditioning?

We do not. Being in a coastal town with a beautiful ocean breeze all year round, we generally do not need AC. We do however, provide ceiling fans and standing fans in all of our rooms for those few days that are warmer than others.

What is your deposit policy?

Upon making your reservation, your first night’s room and tax will be charged. This is refundable up to 48 hours in advance.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy is 48 hours. This means that if your reservation is cancelled prior to 48 hours in advance, any deposit is refunded. If it is cancelled within 48 hours prior to your reservation, or no one arrives to claim the reservation, the deposit is forfeited.

Do you allow parties?

We do our best to be considerate of all of our guests. In our efforts to do so, we do not allow parties of any kind to be held on our property. This is for the comfort and safety of all of our guests, as well as our team. We thank you for your consideration.

How many people can I fit in one room?

* room for rollaway bed to accommodate a third person for an additional fee

 

Double Queen Room | 4 Adults
* room for a crib which we can provide free of charge when available

Due to fire safety code, we cannot allow more people in any room type than mentioned here.

Do your Junior Suites have separate rooms?

Our Junior Suites are set up like studio apartments. They are one large room with a slight separation between the bedroom/sitting room and the kitchen.

Do you have rooms with an ocean view?

We are a block from the beach with buildings in between. This leaves us with one room that has a slight view. This room is first come, first serve.

Can my family/friends come use the pool?

Only registered guests are permitted to use our facilities.

What is Stash?

Stash Rewards is our loyalty program for travelers who love independent and boutique hotels. Much like Marriott Rewards or Hilton Honors, our guests can earn points towards free stays! It is free and easy. Any time you stay with one of our properties, you earn points. They add up quickly too! There are no blackout dates and they never expire!

What is Guestbook?

Guestbook is another rewards program we offer to our guests who book direct. Guestbook offers cash back through PayPal, gift cards, charitable donations. All you have to do is book direct, sign up, and once your stay is completed, you receive the rewards you have chosen!
