What are your office hours?

Our office hours are from 7:30AM-10PM. Please give us a call at +1.805.965.0546 if your anticipated arrival will be after 10PM. We are more than happy to setup a late check in for you. Alternatively, if you arrive after 10PM, please follow the instructions on the front left door of the lobby.

Do you have Air Conditioning?

We do not. Being in a coastal town with a beautiful ocean breeze all year round, we generally do not need AC. We do however, provide ceiling fans and standing fans in all of our rooms for those few days that are warmer than others.

Do you have a parking lot?

Yes! We have our own parking lot that can accommodate one small, to mid-size, vehicle per guest room for FREE for those that book directly with us. Oversized trucks, trucks with trailers, and motorhomes will need to use available street parking. Please note, on-site parking is not guaranteed and reservations cannot be made in advance.

Do you have an elevator?

We do not have an elevator at our property and some rooms are only accessible by stairs. In addition, all our 2 bedded accommodations are located on the ground floor. We do have limited King rooms available on the ground floor, however ground floor rooms are not guaranteed.

Are you pet friendly?

We are dog friendly! We accept dogs of all sizes and breeds. There is a $50, non-refundable fee per stay and a $75 additional fee for stays over 3 nights.

What is your guarantee deposit policy?

Upon making your reservation, your first night’s room and tax will be charged. This deposit is refundable if your reservation is canceled TWO (2) days prior to the date of arrival by 11:00 pm PST.

Cancellations within TWO (2) days forfeit prepayment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made TWO (2) days prior to the date of arrival by 11:00 pm PST. A cancellation number will be issued.

Cancellations within TWO (2) days will incur a penalty fee of one night room and tax (forfeit reservation guarantee payment). Early departures and No shows will incur a penalty of one night and tax.

Do you offer breakfast?

We offer a complimentary coffee and pastry service from 7:30AM-10AM each morning for all of our guests!

Are there coffee pots in the rooms?

The Junior Suites include a coffee makers. There is also coffee and tea available in the lobby throughout the day from 7:30AM-10PM. We do offer in room coffee machines and electric kettles upon request and based upon availability.

Is early check in/late check out possible?

Our guaranteed check in time is 4PM. We will do our best to accommodate your request, however, it is not guaranteed. If your room is ready when you arrive, we will of course be happy to check you in! If not, we can at least take care of your paperwork, register your vehicle if you wish, and offer you a place to freshen up. Late check outs are subject to availability, please inquire with our team on your date of departure!

How far are you from the beach?

We are just one block from the beach!

How far are you from Downtown State Street?

We are 1.5 miles from the beginning of State Street at Stearns Wharf. It is about a 20 minute walk along the beach. Alternatively, you could take the Waterfront Shuttle for $0.50 per ride during the day, they pick up one block away.

How far are you from the Santa Barbara Zoo?

The Zoo is just one block behind us!

Are there pull-out sofas in the rooms?

We do not have pull out sofas, however, we can offer an air mattress for a small fee when available.

What is the difference between a Superior Room and a Junior Suite?

Our Junior Suites are larger and feature a fireplace and a small, yet fully equipped, kitchen with a full size refrigerator, stove top, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, table and chairs and yes, even the kitchen sink!

Do you have a hot tub?

We do not. However, the pool is heated to 82 degrees from 9AM to 9PM year round.

Do you accept group bookings?

Our hotel cannot accommodate group bookings.

Do you allow parties?

We do our best to be considerate of all of our guests. In our efforts to do so, we do not allow parties of any kind to be held on our property. This is for the comfort and safety of all of our guests, as well as our team. We thank you for your consideration.

How many people can I fit in one room?

King Room | 2 Adults
* room for a crib which we can provide free of charge upon availability
* certain rooms cannot accommodate an air mattress

2 Queen Room | 4 Adults
* room for a crib which we can provide free of charge upon availability
* these rooms cannot accommodate a rollaway bed

King Junior Suites |2 Adults
* room for an air mattress to accommodate a third person for an additional fee upon availability

Double Junior Suites | 4 Adults
* double queen Junior Suites cannot accommodate an air mattress

Due to fire safety code, we cannot allow more people in any room type than mentioned here.

Do your Junior Suites have separate rooms?

Our Junior Suites are set up like studio apartments. They are one large room with a slight separation between the bedroom/sitting room and the kitchen.

Do you have rooms with an ocean view?

We are a block from the beach with buildings in between. This leaves us with a few rooms that have a slight view. Our Terrace Premier King and Terrace Premier Double rooms have partial ocean views with a small outdoor space. Our Premier Kings are located on a higher level and have a partial mountain or ocean view. Specific views are not guaranteed.

Can my family/friends come use the pool?

Only registered guests are permitted to use our facilities.
