About the Concert
Get a sneak peek at one of the world’s largest jazz festivals (the Monterey Jazz Festival) this month with the Monterey Jazz Festival Tour concert. Although the actual Monterey Jazz Festival is held in late September, artists from the event are touring across the country now to give locals a glimpse at what the festival will entail. One of their stops? The University of California Santa Barbara on Apr 8. Starting at 8 p.m., this concert will feature artists like Cécile McLorin Salvant, Bria Skonberg and Melissa Aldana. The Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour is a knockout show that showcases award-winning young jazz artists. Throughout the concert, expect a combination of original songs and classic jazz tunes.
Tickets to Monterey Jazz Festival on Tour
The show will take place at the University of California Santa Barbara’s Campbell Hall. Tickets range in price from $35 – $55 for regular admission. If you need handicap accommodations, special seating is available! Be sure to look at Campbell Hall’s seating chart before you purchase your tickets.
