While at the festival, make sure to explore the Eco Marketplace featuring a variety of local vendors. The marketplace is filled with green items, like organic clothing and sustainable household products. On the nearby eMarket Stage, visitors can watch demonstrations and presentations on the newest eco products. After shopping, head to Food Court & Truck area where you’ll find even more local vendors, this time serving up all sorts of eco-friendly eats.

This corner has plenty of kid-friendly activities as well as a Kid Stage, featuring entertainment. Older ones can also venture to the Great Outdoors section of the festival where they’ll find things like an archery arcade and climbing tower.

Another Earth Event to Look Forward To

If Earth Day Festival just isn’t enough celebrating for you (it’s okay, we get it), then join the entire state of California on Sep 26 for the annual California Coast Cleanup Day. Although not directly tied to Earth Day, this event is the largest volunteer effort in the state. Last year, over 650 pounds of recyclables and 5,600 pounds of trash were removed from area beaches.
